About Me

I have been programming since I received my first computer, a Commodore VIC-20. There were only two games with it and a programmer's guide. It didn't boot up into an interface or anything, it dropped you directly into BASIC. The internet didn't exist back then, so you were left with some simple examples on how to do things and your imagination.

Starting off with something so simple and basic (pun intended) has helped shape my interaction and learning with computers. They were never the magical box that everyone else seemed to think they were. I learned how things worked and just watched it scale up and up. Technology at it's core is no different than those very simple times and my perspective lends me to approach problems in unique ways.
